    Xbox One Fortnite Mic not working


    Anyone familiar with this issue? We've really tried everything. Seen all the YouTube videos. Tried to do what they say. Nothing worked . The mix is fine and we can see on the console that the xbox and mic work fine together. Even did a test (echo) Skype
    call to validate this . So console and headset and mic are fine. There seems to be a compatibility or (unknown ) settings issue in Fortnite. We've toggled all the settings we can for audio. We've been in and out of a party . Just nothing seems to work.
    Would really appreciate an honest fix. Thanks in advance.

    hi,

    what sometimes can fix it is if you start an xbox party then go on to fortnite and then go on to your friends list then tap Y to go on to audio settings and turn voice channel on to game or party chat not xbox party chat then click on xbox party chat game
    chat again and it should be fixed

    Are you having the same issues with other games? or just Fortnite?

    You said that it works with the Skype app, just trying to understand if its an issue with Fortnite or all games (not apps).

    Would a factory reset mean all games loaded onto the console are uninstalled?
