Xbox one fortnite game issues

my son is trying to play duos /squads party,but it keeps saying that you are unable to join this cross platform party. This has been happening for the last 3 days ,have checked all settings everything is set up to play with friends. Any help would be great

I was trying to sign in to fortnite but it had login issues so I turned off my xbox one s and no it won't even let me sign into my xbox account.

Promotional items and skins for Fortnite are controlled by Epic Games. You can talk to them through their

Fortnite Forums. That being said I wish I could buy the Eon set by itself too but so far it only comes as part of a console bundle. You can buy it here

My sons have lot of friends who are playing fortnite on ps4. They wanted that we get ps4 too, we had only xbox one s. I bought PC instead, because of many reasons..( I thought they can play duo using pc + our xbox one - and also sometimes join to ps4 games
with PC) I really like how Microsoft is open for cross platform play, also with ps4 - but Sony isn't. I'm really dissapointed to this issue, because my kids wants to play duo, one in PC and another using XBOX one, but seems it's not possible.

I guess I need to buy another PC - or then just sell the xbox and buy ps4 instead.

Microsoft - please fix this. There's no point at all - childs can play with xbox, with another xbox players, but not cross platform. Doesn't make any sense.
