Xbox One Fitness: Error Code 1000

On most nights that I try to do a workout on Xbox Fitness, I get the Error Code 1000 and it says Xbox Fitness Service Unavailable. This only seems to happen at night. Can anyone help?

I have tried all the basics. Uninstalling, factory reset, checking the internet connection....

I have chatted with Xbox support and they were unsure of what to do, but assured me that it will be taken care of.

Xbox fitness won't load ???

I'm so done with this, i can't use the service cuz an error keeps occuring. Xbox fitness service not available right now, please try again later: Error Code 1000.

Been using the customer service trying everything and it keeps sending me that error.

According to the forums this seems to be a problem in most countries.

From what I know about IT (writing programs since 1981), I would say, they just don't provide enough capacity "in the cloud", i.e. for streaming the videos. Actually, I tried everything (different XB1s, different providers, different cities, different routers,
resetting all these things, checking b4, after in between, that the console has "premium" access to the internet). The only aspect influencing playability seems to be the time. You can check out yourself: The number of errors per minute appears to be about
the same a "peak (workout) times" from Monday to Friday, but it changes on weekends and on holidays.

You can find this issue everywhere on forums etc. - so I can't imagine Microsoft doesn't know about it. Either their policy for escalating issues does not recognize insufficient capacity on Microsoft's side or they just don't care.

Might be you check out for yourself, if this error appears less often when you work out very early in the morning or very late in the evening.

I am on my 67th stamp card now. But I bought two sets of insanity DVDs the week b4 last week. It's a petty, because I like the mix offered on XBOX Fitness, and I bought almost all workouts (even the ones that were free in 2014) - because they would be worth
that (incredible high) price for me - if I could only use them at all.

The DVDs work offline.

Might be that is what Microsoft means, when they tell us something about integration with classic media/entertainment ...

Hey there, KelseyAnn27! I'm very sorry to see this error code is appearing for you! This means that there is some connectivity issues that seem to be going on. Most commonly, it means that the connection you have has been disconnected.

That being the case, are you able to access anything on your Xbox One when this happens? If you are, I'd like for you to provide me the detailed network statistics from you
Network Settings on Xbox One. This way we can see if anything might be showing what is happening at the time.

Additionally, if you are wired, please try wireless. If you are wireless, please try wired for me.

If you could also post up your router and modem manufacturer and model information so that we can ensure that you don't have a device that has any known issues. If you do, we can adjust accordingly to see if that will help you out as well.

Post back with the above info, and we'll get going from there!

 

I am able to access everything on my Xbox except Xbox Fitness. I know for certain it is not a connectivity problem.

 

I can even get into Xbox Fitness, but it is when I try to do a workout it comes up with that same error. I need answers fast!!

I'm also experiencing this problem constantly at the moment and distinctly more during peak times in the evening (GMT +1 time zone). It's making the service close to un-playable. Detailed network stats. are:

Download speed: 46.28 Mbps

Upload speed: 8.11 Mbps

Packet loss: 0%

MTU: 1480

Latency: 197 ms

Router/modem: Deutsche Telekom Speedport W 921V

Support have indicated before that it's because of the latency but I've had flawless sessions on days where the latency was higher, so this is dubious.

 

KelseyAnn27 - Thanks so much! That definitely looks good. To make sure that you don't have a device that has any known issues, please post up your router and modem model and manufacturer. There are some devices that require users to have their settings a
specific way, and I'd like to make sure you do not have one of those.

sesnecriCmenaP - I'm very sorry to see you are suffering from this as well! Your latency is definitely something to be concerned about. I looked into it, and it looks like your

Speedport has a firmware update. I apologize in being a native English speaker, so I may be mistaken, but it looks like your device should have received an update last month. Please make sure you are up to date there, and let me know if you are having any
further issues then.

For both of you, because of the nature of your issue (only happening during peak times), are either of you in our Preview Program? This may be the cause behind everything if you are, so I want to double check.

Post back with the details I'm looking for, and we'll see where to go from there.

 

I'm not sure what the Preview Program is so I don't think I am in it.

The error does not happen at peak times. It happens most of the time. I have tried different times of the day with the same problem.

I appreciate you letting me know that you aren't in the preview program. Would you please post back with your router and modem manufacturer and model information? This way we can rule out any known issues with your specific devices.

I really appreciate the detailed support, I actually didn't know that DT offered firmware updates. Unfortunately (or not) my router is set to automatically receive them when they're pushed out so it's up to date.

Regarding the latency, I took a record of it each for a period of a couple months before each XBFitness session and I really couldn't see any connection. There would be days where it was higher but the session was still perfectly smooth and vice-versa. If
you can put this information to use I'd be happy to provide it, I really love the service so it shame when it's not working so well. I'm not in the Preview Program, be would definitely like to be.

Since the start of the year though the quality and reliability is distinctly worse than this time one year-ago. Where as the stream would previously freeze it now also skips forward as though trying to re-sync which means the duration of any particular
exercise is shortened.

I guess I'll jump in too! I'm experiencing the same error 1000 at all times and have tried the uninstall and such but no luck. I don't have any issues with anything else but I am part of the preview program and have the new dashboard update.
