    I just bought an XBox One S today, and I was wondering if I can turn off/unplug my Xbox during the first update

    you can try the one that almost worked I guess....I really think you need to take it to another network and test it ...

    Is there any better alternative? I just don't want to leave it on overnight, and the update is taking forever.

    Not really. Turning it off/unplugging it might not mess anything up, but there's always a chance it could. I'm also pretty sure you'd have to start the update over again if you do that.

    Not really. Turning it off/unplugging it might not mess anything up, but there's always a chance it could. I'm also pretty sure you'd have to start the update over again if you do that.

    I tried the reset file to factory defaults and nothing happened. Should I redownload the reset file and unzip it again to my flash drive?
