    Xbox one fell over, will turn on but no image


    I have a recently new xbox one (~two months old). I was moving it downstairs to my room and I had it set up vertical (which I know is in general a bad idea) but it's the only way I could make it fit. Either way, I managed to clip a cable on the xbox with
    my foot and the entire thing fell over.

    When I tried turning it on my monitor would recognize an HDMI input but it was just a big graphical glitch (black screen, ocasionally flickering xbox logo green, then just a bunch of blue with stripes). I tried turning it off and on and now it won't even
    recognize an HDMI input.

    I don't quite understand how this broke the machine, I've seen youtube videos of people dropping this thing 15ft with no problem, mine just toppled over from a vertical position and it's broken? Does anyone have any experience with this? Can I open her up
    and try to solve the problem myself?

    Edit: Ok nevermind sorry, I was using a HDMI to DVI converter to use my computer monitor with the xbox one and when it fell over it had slightly tilted the converter (without disconnecting it), reattaching the converter fixed the issue. I'm dumb.
