Xbox one fast scroll

OK! So I'm getting [Mod removed-profanity] off because I somehow activated Xbox One fast scroll on my controller and I've searched up how to fix it with no results so I'm coming here. I need your help to fix this because you do not give
us any hidden Xbox controller controls. Like [Mod removed-profanity] Microsoft, we should know this so then we can fix it.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. There currently is not a setting for fast scroll. Are you currently enrolled in the insider program? Try

power cycle your console, also update the controller.

Is it possible that the controller is causing this? For example one of the sticks on a controller I have is damaged and continually moves me up or down depending on which direction I went last and for that reason I can't really use it, I am buying a new
controller this week. It's driving me nuts, I try to use the on screen keyboard for example and it is really hard to select a letter cause it moves so fast.

My boyfriend has this problem sometimes. Since you've said it only happens when making a selection and it doesn't happen on the keyboard, this isn't your controller. Simply performing a power cycle of the Xbox seemed to fix the issue. Steps on how to perform
a physical power cycle are here:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in instant-on power mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Instant-on mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Just click on the map and hit up on the locations list to fast scroll to the bottom...it should be the very last one on the list.

I've finally solved it. Here is what happened:

In the Xbox one, if you keep the right thumbstick moving, it activate the "FAST SCROLLING" feature, and apparently, there was a really little drift with my R3 analog stick, that caused this to happen.

All you have to do, is fix this drift, and no more indesiderate fast scrolling again.

You can either replace the thumbstick with a new one if you have soldering skills, or clean your thumbstick by opening it like is shown in
