    XBox One Fan Running Fast and Loud


    So my XBox one fan is running markedly fast and loud. I had been having issues with random freezes followed by a quick fan speed up that came and went, but still required a system restart due to the freezing. Since the July 20th update though, whether it
    is correlated or not, my system will randomly shut down and not want to start up until I unplugged it from the power block and unplugged the power block from the outlet. It kept happening and I grew tired of it so I disassembled the system (it is out of warranty
    and I got it secondhand) and thought about replacing the fan (thought it might be the problem based on what I have read) with a 3rd party fan that I had laying around. The fan didn't have the same power fixture, so I went online and ordered a fan that I wouldn't
    have to wire, put the system back together, turned it on, and the fan is running a t what seems its max speed. It is running so loud that I can hear it throughout the house, what could be the issue?

    Fan going crazy

    as soon as I turn on my Xbox one, its fan goes crazy fast and is super loud

    Spilled some soda on top of xbox slim right into vent. Now fan is super loud.

    Does the fan sound like it is running faster? The pop might have messed up what ever controls the fan and the fan is running faster. Sending it in to xbox would be the only way to fix it anything with the fan. Trying to open it up to fix it would breach
    the warranty and is against xbox TOU. If you dont mind the loud fan though, and it does not affect gameplay at all, then it is not that big of a deal. But if it is under warranty, I would rather be safe than sorry and send it in to get fixed.

    Is there a game running in the background? Does the Xbox One X fan still kick in loud when you've fully shutdown the console and turned it on fresh?

    I've noticed that my Xbox One X is usually fairly quiet, but there are some games where the fan kicks in really loud, even if they're running in the background while I watch Netflix.

    The only legal way is hearing how loud the Xbox's fan is and feeling the hot air from the fan. If your 360 heating up to fast, reposition it so it ventilates enough for it to breath good.

    Ok I moved it and it has not shut off sense but the Xbox One X Fan noise is not constant and is still loud maybe not as loud as a jet engine like I describe before but still loud way louder than my Xbox One S and OG Xbox One, it would have a fan burst
    when I'm playing which is loud and annoying and the fan noise would never be at a constant noise level while I'm playing a game.

    The fan doesn't run that fast. As xbox 360. It's because it's such a big fan it can run much slower yet giving same if not better cooling then the old 360 fan did
