Xbox one fan noise and home secreen problem

Every time I quit playing one of my downloaded games, and go to start another one, the fan suddenly gets really loud and the system feels really warm. Also, when I go to play certain games such as COD Advanced Warfare and The Master Chief Collection, it
just stays on the title screen and then snaps back to the home menu. I've been having this problem for a while. I'm beginning to think I payed $500 for a paperweight.

Xbox One is chirping

i have the same problem with the chirping noises, the chirping was not there when i first got the xbox one but after a wyl now it starts making the noises. the fan seems to be loud off and on.

If the fan is making a rattling noise, that is definitely not normal. From what you're describing it sounds like you may want to

setup a repair for your console.

Take it back to the store. It definitely sounds faulty. Noise fan issues is a pandemic atm. Lots of consoles have been returned because of overheating and loud noises being emitted.

All consoles have a 12 month guarantee and Microsoft themselves would instruct returning back to the retailer. It's either that or an exchange with Microsoft for a used, refurbished console. That can take up to 4-6 weeks and there's no guarantee that won't
have any issues.

There's amazing games coming out and you don't want to miss out. Return, that is the way forward. I had to do it myself 2 weeks ago.

Really send you a re-furbished system, because that's crap???

 

They do indeed send out refurbished consoles. I know, I can't believe it either. The standard practise should be new consoles.

Another idea is buy a brand new Xbox One from a retailer then switch the consoles and return the faulty one back the store. They will return it to Microsoft and you at least have a new console with a 12 month warranty.

I think it's unacceptable the way Microsoft have handled these issues so I recommend the consumer doing anything they can to solve these issues with viable solutions.
