Xbox one fan broke

the store after 6 months can either get the customer to send to microsoft for repair or they can do that on their behalf.

if it is a fault then after 6 months you have to prove it is a manufacture fault with a full report, the store can if they choose to then is send for repair, or replace with refurb or new at their discretion.

under 6 months it is up to the store to prove the fault is not a manufacture fault.

Sorry about your problem there. That's an odd thing for them to request. In the UK you should be able to take the console into an Argos Store with your receipt and they should deal with it there. UK consumer law is such that the retailer should either offer
to send it for repair, or provides you with a replacement console. proof of receipt is all that should be required.

They should only tell you to contact the manufacturer (Microsoft) if you don't have a receipt.

I don't know because I'm not much of a fan of third-party controllers ever since I had one before and it broke easily (GC Controller lol), I don't mind wired though

I really hope Sims 4 comes out on Xbox One. Massive fan of the sims and played every single one on console and pc. Just my computer recently broke so stuck with this crappy laptop. But I really hope some sort of news comes out about a console release soon.
