    Xbox One family settings help


    I would like to purchase the Halo Master Chief Collection on my Xbox One, but when my account transferred to the One, it set itself so that I can't purchase content. I want to change that, but it says I need to sign in as a parent. The problem is that I
    don't know who my parent is. All it is is a blank picture with the caption "Robert". Neither my Dad's account or my brother's account are the right "Robert" account, and whenever I try to join their family, it says I need to leave the current one. Anything
    I can do so this problem doesn't persist?

    How to add family to xbox live gold on Xbox 360?

    I have xbox live gold and own both xbox 360 and xbox one consoles. I have already added both family members to xbox one under family in settings. However, when my family signs in to xbox 360 they don't get xbox gold benefits. Like play multiplayer and online.
    Is there a setting in xbox 360 I'm missing? My profile is downloaded onto xbox 360.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Xbox One has a bunch of "Family" settings to help place restrictions on Xbox accounts you can make for your kid.

    Especially in your case, there are options to restrict voice communication (voice, text, invites). The settings available are "Everybody", "Friends Only" or "Block".

    Let your Dad put his account on your Xbox One and then let him adding your account to his family may do the trick.
