Xbox one family gold sharing not working with xbox Fitness app?

My wife and I both have xbox live accounts. My account also has an xbox gold membership and I went through the process of adding her as a family member and sharing the Gold membership so it should be available to her account as well. However, when she
accesses the xbox fitness app, she is not able to access any of the workout routines that require a Gold membership. When my account is active I can access all of these routines with no problem.

Can anyone provide me with some assistance with this? Is it an issue with the fitness app? Do I need to do something different in sharing the Gold membership? Am I missing some step in the "creating the family" process?

I'm at a bit of a loss, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    :)

    Hey there,

Is your console enabled as your "home" Xbox? On your console to go to Settings --> My home Xbox to verify.

Microsoft canceled Family GOLD sharing package last year. And replaced it on XBOX ONE with HOME GOLD. Which allows everyone on your home console use your Xbox Live GOLD. All you need to do for this is just go to settings and make your Xbox One console as
    Home console.

I'm having the exact same issue, same scenario. My Xbox One is set as my home console, and my wife's Gamertag is a part of my "family" in settings.

I found a solution. I changed my Xbox from being my Home Xbox, then made it the Home Xbox again. Next, I removed my wife from the "family." Then I added her back. For whatever reason, it worked. It's worth a shot Theseus.

Xbox one family gold sharing not working with xbox Fitness app?

Same prob. Made it not my home box, then made it my home (plus my wife's profile). We are both in each other's family and she still can't access fitness apps. Any other ideas to try please? Thank you

Found out that sharing doesn't work if you are using a free trial code. Mine came with the xbox. Apparently it needs to be a paid for subscription. (MS said I could use another free code I had on my wifes profile so we could both have a go, but that didn't
work, so save you trials for another time). Good luck.
