Xbox One Family Activity not reporting App and Game usage

Discus and support Xbox One Family Activity not reporting App and Game usage in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The Activity section of the Family....it's not updating any data on usage as of recent.     Xbox One Family Activity not reporting App and Game usage


    The Activity section of the Family....it's not updating any data on usage as of recent.

    I've checked all settings on the Xbox, etc. but can't seem to figure out why we are not seeing our son's Activity.

    Any suggestions??

    Screen time limits are working just fine.

    Activity feed stopped updating?

    I have two children and two xBox One consoles. The two child accounts play together on alternating consoles (one is newer than the other) and log into their respective xBox accounts so they can play online games (F**tnite and prev Ov**watch).

    For at least two years I've been monitoring their screen time through the Family Activity pages of my (Parent) Microsoft account online (I've set a cumulative weekly playing time so the daily limits don't work for me). The screen time reporting has been
    accurate enough, and allowed me to keep tabs on their playing time regardless of console or game. I have both accounts set up with the same Privacy settings, activity reporting etc. Same/same.

    Last Wednesday (a week ago) one of the Child accounts Screen time has been reporting zero time... although he has played right alongside his brother... and his brothers screen time has been reporting accurately as always.

    The xBox account appears to be ok... I have the Xbox app for IOS, and receive notification when BOTH log-on... and I can chat and see what they BOTH are playing at any given time... BUT the activity/screen time is not reporting for one child regardless of
    console??

    I've searched online and can't find solutions to fixing Family Activity reporting issues for xBox One?

    Hi Jason,

    On the device, go to Settings > Privacy > Feedback & diagnostics, and make sure the level is set to Enhanced or Full. If it's set to Basic, child activity will not be reported.

    *Website activity will now be sent at the Basic level. Device and App Usage still require Enhanced or Full.

    Microsoft Family Time is not showing members' time spent on connected devices

    Thank you for your reply.



    Apologies for the delayed response.



    There has been no changes to the accounts of the people in my Microsoft Family or on the Xbox console, for the members I do activity monitoring.



    I don't use a PC to monitor activity or check the weekly reports; I use the Android app on my mobile phone.



    To test, I did also now check the reports on a Windows 11 PC (21H2) with all Microsoft updates installed, using Microsoft Edge v107.0.1418.26 (Official build) (64-bit) - No change. I can still not see any activity or screen time usage on either my Windows 11 PC or the Microsoft Family Safety app on my Android mobile device.





    I have confirmed that all apps on the Xbox console are up to date, and I have the Xbox Companion App installed on my Android mobile device (I don't believe this app provides any insight into Family Safety/screentime usage at all?).



    As mentioned in my initial post, it appears that both members' activity reporting stopped on the same day, ~13th of September 2022, which suggests this may not be a per-member or a device issue, as both my mobile phone and PC are unable to view the activity reports, on email, web, and via the mobile app.



    Are there perhaps any additional settings/options I can look at to get these activity reports working again?

The Xbox Family Settings application which can be found on your mobile device's app store has activity reports that allow you to review your family member's daily and weekly activity, which includes their total play time: View activity reports and notifications in the Xbox Family Settings app
