    Xbox One Fall Update and HDhomerun app major issue


    Hello,

    I just wanted to report that with the Fall Update the HDhomerun app has serious issues locking in channels and presents a slideshow type of video effect while the audio plays fine. HDhomerun users will not be able to watch on their app with this update in
    any type of normal fashion.

    I have confirmed this on the SiliconDust forums as well that it is happening to multiple users. I opted out of the insider previews yesterday and the Xbox was set back to the current software release. After doing that the problem went away.

    I just wanted to post this here so that hopefully someone can look at what changed that would cause this to occur. I have also posted in Silicon Dust forums in the hopes that between both sides this can be figured out. All I know is the app works fine on
    the current Xbox One software but the minute the Fall Update is applied almost every channel has terrible slide show type lagging effects in video playback while the audio plays just fine.

    I am also having this issue since the most recent major update.

    My xbox is up to date, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success.

    Not sure what you mean by "outside tuners" because the Home Work PVR works with Xbox One, meaning Xbox has the drivers to send it commands.

    That downside is that you get what you pay for and the Home Worx PVR is a POS and I'd like to send it back to Amazon. I found this thread hoping someone got the industry leading OTA PVR HDHome run working. I'm very surprised you can set one up in settings
    for Xbox One.

    Sadly there is no support for outside tuners. Apparently MS wants to kill off WMC and external tuners considering the fact that they won't even allow ANY 3rd parties to have extenders that work with Windows 8. You're better off sticking with Windows 7 and

    I need this support. After setting up by Xbox One, I am now TV-less through the Xbox interface. I strictly use OTA right now, which the Xbox One has no options that work. Big letdown. It's sad that I can use my Surface Pro to stream from my HDHomeRun2 to
    my TV, but the "All In One" Xbox can't.

    Home Work PVR is like a cable box, being controlled by IR and the video coming in through HDMI.

    Something like HDHomerun is controlled through ethernet and the video also coming in through ethernet.
