    Xbox One failing to load to dashboard after Account setup.


    So I recently purchased an xbox one and it asked me to sign in, which I did. However, the xbox one crashed on the final step and nothing was happening for about 10 minutes so I decided to restart the console. Now it won't even boot up and will just leave
    me with a black screen whenever I turn the console on.

    Xbox One Crash to Dashboard or failed Games Loading has Been Fixed

    I haven't seen this problem myself but I have heard about it, I mean users on this board might have even encountered it. Let me break it down. The issue is when people try to load their Xbox One games they either crash back the the dashboard or fail to load at all. Well no worries because a fix has been found. It's worked for a lot of people but not everyone so if it's not working for you then contact Microsoft Support.

    Dashboard Fails to Load

    Try clearing your hdd cache by going to system, storage and hovering over your hdd and pressing Y. This may help. Also is this occurring when you choose to skip signing in? If so, it may be your profile. In which case delete it under storage and simply recover
    it back to your hdd. You still need your password, but this too might help.

    If you end up deleting your profile, be sure just to delete the profile only, otherwise you would delete savegames etc as well.

    You could also try to see what happens when using a different profile.

    Honestly, it could be anything. Considering the console boots and fails to load the dashboard, there are only a few things. The first things that the dashboard loads on boot up is your profile(s). They're all enumerated and then one is loaded if it is set
    to auto-login. The console also connects to the internet, either via WiFi or Ethernet cable. Then the dashboard loads the general..dashboard. It could be any of those things. You can't do anything for any of these other than controlling whether or not it connects
    to the internet, or attempting to stop it from logging into a corrupted profile. Unfortunately it seems like Microsoft fails to put in any fail safes for when something with the dashboard goes wrong. Shoddy programming on their part, but there's unfortunately
    nothing that can be done. If it was hardware related, it's unlikely that your console would freeze in the same spot every time, and it wouldn't even finish POSTing during the logo.

    Forza 5 - Freeze loading road atlanta

    As a follow up, i've reset my xbox one to factory defaults, and reinstalled the game (again).

    It looks like Road Atlanta is works. However, Silverstone and Catalunya do not.
