    Xbox One extremely Dim/Dark screen on TV ?


    Good Morning All

    Didn't see a search option relating to my posted question, apologies. Anyhow for the last two mornings and nights when i boot up my Xbox One my screen on TV Samsung 32" LCD is extremely Dim/Dark. At first thought it was my TV, but check other video sources,
    TV appears to be fine. Upon rebooting Xbox One the screen returns to the correct video settings. Anyone ever experienced the same issue ? Just wondering if it is a Hardware related issue w/ the Xbox One.

    Dim display after booting Xbox one

    Recently I have been experiencing issues after turning on my console. The screen will be extremely dim. The white Xbox one logo that displays during startup appears almost dark grey. And when I'm at the home screen it's very dark. Restarting the console
    fixes this issue. But it happens everytime I turn it on for the first of the day. Could this be a software update issue after the last update?

    Xbox One S HDR Bug

    I am having a similar issue on my Xbox One S connected directly to my Samsung JS8500 tv. When I open the netflix app the screen becomes very dim and the screen doesn't return to normal until the app is quit. HDR content looks great using the Netflix app
    on my TV by the way, not dim at all.

    Hi, I have seen this before.

    With the Xbox powered on press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the Xbox for 10 seconds, The Xbox will power off. Power the Xbox on again using the Xbox button on the front of the Xbox.

    Then try powering the Xbox off and on a few times to see if the issue persists please.

    Xbox One X HDR dimming problem!

    Hello,

    My xbox one x has an issue with loading games in HDR. When a game or netflix starts up. My screen dims dark. Like it fade away. All colours are dark and not bright.

    I have a 4K/HDR tv with a 10 bit panel. And it doenst work.

    I tried everything. Switching settings from my tv and xbox, hard reset, different HDMI 2.0 port and cabel. Only HDR in 8 bit mode doenst go dark. But I know my TV has an working 10 bit panel that works with other content beside my xbox one x.
    Same here. It looks as if you have screen dim on as a power saving feature. The problem with this bug is that dims the screen as soon as you start and play an hdr game or app.

    I mean when the screen dims when it goes into idle. When i watch a movie or tv the screen dims
    Check the settings on the TV with the TV remote Menu.
