    Hey, I am looking for an External Hard Drive and recently found an External Drive for a Mac that is a really good price would that work for my Xbox One? Or would it have problems? Thank you in advance for any replies.

    what kind is it? it should work as long as it's usb 3

    I got a western digital works fine. some people get seagate i read some reviews they fail more than WD that's why i got a WD

    External disc drives will not be compatible with the Xbox One as external hard drives do. If the drive is bad, then you should start a service request
    for it at Microsoft Device Support.

    No it will not kill your hard drive. Just make sure you get an external hard drive compatible with Xbox.

    The hard drive in the system is 500 gb. It can support a minimum 250 gb external hard drive. As far as I know you can store games that are compatible with Xbox One on an external hard drive but not music or movies. No one knows when the system will be
    backwards compatible or if it will be at all. You can play blu rays but not digital copies of movies unless you go through a service like Netflix, Red Box etc that Xbox One supports.
