Thats all very well but why start again? Take the 360 components and improve, not wipe all those features away and slowly bring them back on the Xbox One! Thats not evolution, thats adding features that the 360 already had??

For the record, I own an XO and love it but that comment from MS above just annoyed me.

I have one, MPN EVOLUTION on Xbox Live.

 

Cause they had to start again? IDK The OS for the One and Kinect 2 features while possibly sharing some code or design elements from the 360 was probably done from scratch since the actual hardware is very different from the parts used in the 360 and Kinect
1. It works really well for what it is, but that last final polish is missing. I bet a lot of the people responsible wish they had six more months to really tighten everything up.

If the One isn't better than the 360 at all levels by May then that will really be a let down. I bet it will be better and it will be another tech product where early adopters didn't get the full benefit of the product at launch. Still it's a game console
and when I put a game in I can play the game no problem.

 

We'll get most of our 360 features back, and it's been proved they were listening. The March pre-Titanfall update should be exciting to see.

 

Perhaps the big thing for me is the ability to 'pull' media from my PC. I would hate to have to go to my PC each time I wanted to play video or music on my One.

Once that feature is in place, and for an all in one media device it should have been there at launch, the One becomes much more desirable to me.
