  1. Xbox ONE Ethernet problem

So I have Had My Xbone for almost a couple of years now and have literally never plugged in an Ethernet cable and suddenly it wont let me get online cause it thinks that there is an Ethernet cable plugged in. It happened a couple
of days ago and after unplugging it several times it started working and ran for 2 days just fine now I cant get it functional again. I need a fix that doesn't involve me shelling out $50 to repair the console, I cannot justify spending more money than I already
    have on this console.

    :)

How to Connect Internet Cable directly to Xbox 360

    Hi everybody.

So recently I've been experiencing a lot of lag on CoD, i.e, whenever I join a game I get 2-bar and 3-bar connections. So I decided to search for some solutions. I read somewhere that I can fix this problem by directly connecting my Xbox to the router using an Ethernet cable. Now the problem arises as I do not possess an Ethernet cable.
Currently, I have a cable through which Internet is supplied (It's a Fibrenet connection, which uses Optical Fibres for transmitting the Internet) and this cable is connected to a router which provides me WiFi.
I was wondering if I can connect my Internet Cable directly to the Xbox 360 without Ethernet cables.
(The cable looks exactly like an Ethernet cable so it can fit into the Ethernet jack of the Xbox, so that problem is covered.)

EDIT : I connected the Internet Cable to the Xbox but when I tested connection, It does not connect to Internet. Help

    Xbox One Ethernet Port Problem

Hello, I've had an Xbox One since day one and I have a wired connection.

Recently, I have been experiencing a network problem. The xbox does not recognize a wired connection. I get a different error message when I test my network than the ones posted in the support documents. Mine says "Not Connected: Your network is not set
up" There is no set up wired connection option anymore. Wireless set up option works. In the network settings, under current network status it says, "Not connected, to connect plug in an ethernet cable or set up wireless network."

I have tried three different ethernet cables and two different wall ports that connect to my router. None work. When I test the same cables and ports but instead plug the other end into my laptop, I get a full signal. This leads me to believe that the xbox
one ethernet port is broken. And yes the cable in the back of the xbox is fully plugged in, it makes that "clicking lock" sound.

The thing is, my wired connection has been working fine for the last month with my xbox one until now. Recently I have been unplugging the ethernet cable from the xbox one and plugging it into my 360 to go back to play other games. When i switch back to
the xbox one, it normally reconnects correctly until today. Any advice or do I need to send my xbox one in for repairs?

    Thanks

Problems for home Wifi when Xbox One Is wired into network

No, it's a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580. It has the modem and router all in one. I bought it a few years ago. I never had this problem when my Xbox 360 was wired into it. It was kind of the reason I ran ethernet through my house. While the Xbox One is connected
to ethernet you can use the wired computer in the house, but no wifi connected devices. Unplug the Xbox One Ethernet and they all run no problem.

    Xbox One Ethernet Port Problem

I solved my problem. All I did was do a 'power cycle' with my console and it resolved the issue. All you have to do is turn the console on, hold down the power button on the console for 5 seconds, release it when it turns off and let it rebot on it's own.
