Xbox One Ethernet Port Not Working

I am having trouble with my Xbox One disconnecting from online games. I know that it is the ethernet port because I have plugged both my PlayStation and laptop into the wireless router and they work just fine, no disconnects. Having a wired connection with
the Xbox disconnects, however. I have attempted to cycle the power, as many of the forums suggest, and I still have this issue. I have reset my router multiple times, used different ethernet cords, and plugged the Xbox directly into my laptop to share the
connection, and it still disconnects. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this, or if there even is a way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

XBOX ONE ETHERNET PORT NOT WORKING

My xbox can connect to wifi wirelessly, it's not very efficient and gets upnp and similar issues regularly. But this summer I noticed with my ethernet plugged in it continued to use my wireless wifi. I didn't play much because I worked 60 hours a week.
Now I'm at college and the only possible way to connect to the internet on my xbox is with an ethernet. I have tried several cords on several routers and modems but nothing seems to work. It doesn't give me a message either it simply just doesn't read that
anything is plugged in. I looked online to see if I can get service done under my warranty but for a hardware problem related to connectivity issues the only answer I get is a link to the microsoft "contact us" page. I'd like to see if there is something I
can do or possible get it sent back for repair. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about the console issues. If you haven't yet, the next step I'd recommend is performing a full

factory reset of your console. If that doesn't do the trick and you continue to experiencing disconnections, you may want to consider having the console repaired. That process can be explored via our
Online Service Center.

Hopefully the factory reset does the trick though. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
