xbox one ESO corrupted can't launch, can't uninstall

I have recently purchased The Elder Scrolls Online, tamriel unleashed. I installed from disc, and then completed the 60 gb update. Now the game won't launch it displayed error code xbox error code 0x80073cf6. I looked online for a solution, and decided
to uninstall and reinstall after a hard reset failed to fix the problem. However I can not uninstall the game, i'm logged in, in my games and apps and I have selected eso and selected and confirmed uninstall. Now when I try to launch the game it says this
needs to be reinstalled, however when I follow the on screen instructions to uninstall it won't. It asks me if I'm sure I want too, I select yes and and the icon flashes but then does nothing. The game is still on my hard drive, taking up 90 gb off unplayable
space. Is there a way to remove without a full factory reset as this will wipe all my games.

Try a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This way, now we can have your support tailored to your specific needs.

Now If it's not reflecting that you already had uninstalled the game, then I would suggest trying what we call a soft reset.It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall
any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.

Follow the steps here on

The only method ive come across to fix this was to copy everything else off to an external drive and format the harddrive. Definitely not the ideal solution, but the only one which works so far.

It says that it can't be launched and that the item is corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Followed by the code (0x80070570), immediately after trying to install.
