Xbox One: Error - Service is not working right.

When opening some apps i.e. Netflix or Plex, I eventually get the error "looks like our service is not working right. Try again later".

I have been trying the services for the past few days and I have not been able to connect to either via my Xbox One. I have been able to connect to the both Netflix & Plex using my Smart TV and my PC. Initially Netflix stopped working, but now Plex has
too. And I just tried to access Xbox Assist and it is affected

I have restarted the router and the Xbox. Logged out and back in to Live. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Netflix. To no avail.

I've also checked the service status page and it's telling me that there is nothing wrong with any services.

Please advise.

their customer service is top notch imo.

ive bought used systems that had issues in first month gamestop always to care of me. had a disk with a read error swapped with a new one.


their was a email i got about digital download for games... this will be intresting how it works if it is tru.

 

Xbox One Achievements won't pop...

even though I get the achievements in their respective games. I get an error message 0x87c40011. However, the error doesn't exist when I enter it the xbox/support page.

And that seems to be only one of the many issues I am having with the service.

Anyone else having similar problems?

 

Have you done a soft reset (hold power button in for 10 seconds)? Also, is your Xbox up to date?

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this peculiar issue and I can totally see how this could be frustrating. This usually happens when a console is unable to connect and make sure that it's reading information to Xbox Live.

In this instance, after trying the steps you have already, I would suggest trying what we call a soft reset of your console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
