    Xbox One error "Give it another try" 0x80040200


    I continually get the Error Code "0x80040200" almost every time I try to switch Apps, or Games. I had never had this Error Code before, and have just been receiving it for about a week now. I don't know if it is related to a Xbox System Warning that I received
    on my Xbox One Console, which was a warning of the Xbox One overheating...My Grandson had placed Xbox Game Cases on top of the Xbox Unit, covering the Cooling Fan Vents. I removed the Cases from it, and have not received the Overheated warning again But, since
    then, I have been receiving the "BLUE SCREEN of DEATH" (Geez, I wonder if it is related to Win-Doze...) Error Code "0X80040200"

    Any help out there would be greatly appreciated, to me, and mine! Thanks

    I've seen this error in trying to launch apps since the January update. 0x80040200 Give it another try. If you keep seeing this, turn off your xbox by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then turn it back on and try your action again.

    This has been plaguing me for months. Hard resetting the xbox works but it's still very annoying. Any fix in sight so that this error never occurs?

    I have tried that and it's been getting the error less, but I do still get it occasionally.

    Hey there,

    Have you tried a
    Factory Restore on your Xbox One console     yet? If you haven't, please give that a shot and be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps'.

    Let us know how it goes!
    I have tried that and it's been getting the error less, but I do still get it occasionally.

    Hi!

    First try to clear the console cache with the
    power cycle     system.

    If it does not work, the problem seems to be due to corrupt system data. You should restore the console with the factory settings, by following these instructions:

    1) Go to "Settings"->"All Settings"->"System"->"Console info & updates";

    2) Select "Reset console";

    3) Select "Reset and keep my games & apps";

    4) Restore your account and the console's network connection.
