Xbox One Error Codes

My Xbox One gives me a startup error E102 when it comes on. When I try to restore factory default settings on the console it fails. I downloaded the restore factory defaults file from Xbox to restore using a usb and it gives me and error code E101. I tried
to download the Offline System Update file from the Xbox website. My pc said that the download is complete but when I try to extract the file from the OSU zip folder it says that there is nothing in the folder. Please could someone send me the file or assist
me with a solution to solve the problem.

You can go to Xbox One Starup troubleshooter and start with error code you get -> Xbox One Startup Error | Xbox System Update Error

I got error code E101 so i did go to the error code solutions and i downloaded the offline software update file but when i want to extract the files it says there’s nothing in the offline system update file to extract

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this error.

If I were you I'd first try another browser to download the update through instead.

If you're unable to get the offline update to load unto your console, then the next best thing for you to do is try and get your console serviced either through

Device Support or by requesting a callback through
Customer Support.

I couldn't use OSU1 or OSU2. Both failed because im a preview member. Use the trouble shoot start up method to restore your xbox by doing the following:

-Hard reset or remove xbox from power source for at least 30 seconds.

-Push and hold the bind and eject buttons on your xbox.

- While holding those buttons press the power button. (Xbox will chime)

- Continue to hold the bind and eject buttons until you hear a 2nd chime.

- You will be at trouble shoot start up.

- Choose bottom left option, which is reset xbox.

- Choose either (I chose this one) "keep games and apps" or "keep nothing".

-Follow the steps the xbox does through and you are done.

Worked for me. I couldn't do anything with my xbox for 2hrs. I know how you feel. This will work.

 

I tried that and it gave me an E101 error code

Unfortunately these errors typically are tied to a HDD failure issue. I actually had this exact problem before and ended up creating a repair ticket with MS. Since the repair my Xbox has been fine. I would recommend reaching out to get one setup
