I'm trying to renew my live membership I have a code that I paid for ,for 12months Xbox live I enter the code as normal and it shows the code and saids Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at Xbox.com/error
help so we can investigate. I've tried over and over again and getting a bit frustrating.

I can't redeem a credit code for $20. I type in the code (on both Xbox One and on the website on PC) and each time it says will add $20, click to confirm, then instead it delivers an error message.

This error code is usually due to having an active membership which auto renewal is turned off, and the payment instrument that was used to purchase that membership has been removed from your account or is no longer associated with your membership.

For this error to stop, you will need to wait until your current membership has expired before you can redeem a Xbox Live membership card. Once your membership has ended, you will be able to redeem that code! To find out when your membership is due
to expire, visit account.xbox.com!
