I was trying to add a prepaid Xbox Live Gold Year Membership to my account which has Gold but will expire on the 19th. The Code will come up with prepaid Gold so the system knows what it is but can't add it on for whatever reason. I've also tried adding
it on the web but the same message appears.

Xbox 12 month pre paid code

Just bought 12 month prepaid code (xbox one day one edition) Cannot redeem code, keeps saying try again later. error code xbos-0x80169cf9 ?

Anyone having the same issue ?

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

Same here, I was advised it was because I didn't have a payment method on file, which seem strange since it's supposed to be a free month. Anyway, I tried again with a payment method on file, and it still doesn't work. Error code Xbos-0x80169CF9. Any ideas?
