Xbox One Error Code on Startup - E200 00000074 00000000

So all of today my Xbox has been running fine, in fact I've never really had any major problems with it since i bought it three years ago. However, I just recently decided to install Red Dead Redemption on my console, it being backwards compatible now and
everything. This was the first Xbox 360 game I've tried to play on Xbox One so I was asked to download a 7.5 GB update to help facilitate playing 360 games (I assume). Unrelated to this, I decided to restart my Xbox in hopes of helping fix an issue I was having
with my Skype App but upon restarting I've been hit by this error code E200 etc. which is related to failed updates I believe. I have since followed the steps to do an offline update using the OSUDT2 files on the Xbox support page and I get as far as the Xbox
downloading the files off the USB and then applying them but by 37% I'm back on the 'something went wrong' error screen again!

To cut a long story short, am I faced with the reality of a factory reset? Obviously I'm reluctant to carry it out and would only really want to do it as a last resort!

System error on startup

Monday i was buying my xbox one .. played all the week but Friday I got a system error on the startup.

Try couple time and alway a system error like e200 00000000 00000000, e201 0015f4c0 00000000 , e202 00000074 00000000 ..

ok the console just turn offf ...

Need help please

( i did the 10 sec hold and the Bind eject hold whit the osdt file)

 

Hate it when that E200 code pops up, if the offline software update tool didn't work you can soft reset your xbox by gong to the settings > system >console info and updates > restore and you can choose to keep your games and apps, you'd only have to reinstall
your profile, if that doesn't work then you'd have to factory reset your console, hopefully it works though. Good luck!

I'm not sure I have anyway to get to settings though as I have no way to the dashboard. I just get brought to the error screen right after the Xbox green screen intro, then leaves me with four options for troubleshoot: Restart (nope), Turn Off (nope), Offline
System Update (apparently nope) and factory reset, which seems like my only option. I know it'll be wiping my Xbox clean pretty much but what's the situation with my saves etc. afterwards? Is everything backed up through Xbox Live?

 

If that's your only option to go then yeah you'd have to do it, and yes as long as you were connected to xbox live your saved game data and progress and user licenses for all your games are on your account, you will be able to download all your content back
exactly the way it was.

 

I have the exact same problem, it stops at 37% and goes back to the "Something went wrong" screen, I have also tried OSUDT1 and OSUDT3 but they don't work because I have Version 10586.1202. Does anybody have a solution?????

 

i had the same problem today and all i did was went to factory reset and clicked the one with keep apps and games and when you log in then all your data will be there

 

Sam issue has just happened to me. trying the soft reboot fingers crossed it works
