    I put the code in the for downloadable game and it keeps coming up as an error. I put it in correctly and it still doesnt work. Is the xbox network still messed or what?

    I bought a 3month xbox live card and the pin wont go in. I keep getting a message saying sorry there was an error.

    Did the code come bundled in an Xbox One? What was the code for? When it comes up as an error are you getting a separate error code other than the game code itself?

    Were you entering it via Xbox.com or on your console? You can try whichever you haven't using the steps below -

    On your Xbox One

    1. Say “Xbox, use a code,” or select Use a code from the Games store.
    2. If you have a QR code, hold it where the Kinect sensor can scan it. If your Kinect can’t read the code, see
      Kinect troubleshooting.
    3. If you don’t have a QR code, or your code does not scan properly, select Enter the 25-character code.
    4. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter your 25-character token code. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system will take care of those for you.
    5. Once your code is redeemed, you’ll receive a confirmation message.
    On Xbox.com

    1. Visit the Redeem Code page on Xbox.com.
    2. Enter your 25-character token code. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system will take care of those for you.
    3. Click Redeem Code. You’ll receive a confirmation message.
