Just got xbox one for christmas and this error code coming up any help?

Sytem Error Code: E3050000000180073CFE

Got a new xbox one Christmas Day. Logo Screen comes on, loading bubbles appear to be loading then system error code comes up. Says to contact support. System error code # E3050000000180073CFE.

 

anyone at moment can't sign into there gt on xbox live?

I was just playing this morning without issues

 

same here... xbox support directed me to the offline diagnostic tool... followed the steps and it failed... contacted support again and was informed there is a known issue for which they are developing a hotfix... but it may be the end of the week before
it is available.

 

I canot start my xbox one because of this

 

same here. They gotta be kidding me if its gonna take more than a week to come up with a solution. By the time that happens they are going to lose alot of business to Playstation... this really sucks

 

THIS SUCKS, I just want to return this piece of crap to the store. got 3 xbox ones and two wont even work

 

Yeah i was soooo excited to turn my new xbox one on and then this crap happens. so irritated right now. merry Christmas Microsoft

 

The quality control on the xBox One is horrible. Merry Christmas to my 2 very disappointed kids. Even 1.5 of Microsoft online chat fell far shore of resolving the issue.

I moved this thread to our Xbox One support forums for better visibility. This update error was likely due to our service interruption we had yesterday.

If you haven't already, turn on your Xbox One consoles, give the first time set up another go, and post back to let us know how it goes!

 

Same here. BRand new machine. Immediately faulty?

 

If the error still persists, start by doing a full power cycle on your Xbox One, you may even want to try this a few times before proceeding to the next steps. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
  
• Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back in and power on.

If the issue persists follow the steps in our
Xbox One Offline System Update page. Please note the following:

• If you got the error before doing the first time update on a brand new console, download
  OSUDT1.
• If your console is not new and has received updates before, download
  OSUDT2.
• If after trying either of those files you still experience this issue, download the
  Restore to Factory Defaults file.

If the issue persists after trying the offline diagnostics, I recommend contacting our chat or phone support agents through our Contact Us page.

 

^Didn't work. Sending this boat anchor back to the retailer tomorrow morning.

 

Reading several complaints on receiving this Error Code, the error occurs during the initial boot sequence and by the trace it appears this has been a known bug for at least 6-months.

When does Microsoft plan to have a patch published?

If Microsoft is not able to correct the boot sequence on some of these machines - what is the process of returning these machines for a replacement that includes the Call of Duty bundle and 1TB hard drive?

 

i downloaded the restore to factory defualt through the offline sytem download and its worked for me.
