    XMAS DAY, KIDS GUTTED. WE ARE TRYING TO START IT UP FOR THE FIRST TIME. PLUGGED IT IN (WITHOUT MODEM ETC) GOT A SIGN THAT SAYS SYSTEM ERROR AS FOLLOWS E305 00000001 80073CFE WHEN WE SEARCH FOR THE CODE THERE IS NO MATCH. TRIED VARIOUS PARTIAL CODES BUT
    COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. HAPPENS EVERY TIME WE TRY IT. HELP! THIS IS AN XBOX ONE.

    I have the same error code and I contacted Xbox support online who suggested a system upgrade which was not successful, my son is also gutted.

    same just onto support here at the moment i will post if i get any joy, trying all the offline updates and failing that will try a factory restore

    Nope, still no luck. We couldn't do the factory reset as weren't able to follow all the steps. Two fed up boys this Christmas Xbox One error code: E305 00000001 80073CFE :(

    We are having the same problem. Maybe too many people trying to set up at the same time? Cannot do the factory reset at the moment either. Anyone had any luck with another solution?
