the machine after a relatively short time off, the source always premanece orange, never stays with white light when it is OFF.

Sorry to hear about the issue! I moved your thread to the proper Xbox One support forum for better visibility.

Did this issue occur after a system update? Let's start with a power cycle to let the power drain and to clear the system cache. Follow the steps below:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
  
• Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back in and power on.

If the issue persists, follow the steps on our Offline Diagnostic Tool page to manually install the OSUDT2 file (OSUDT1 if
this console has not been updated before). If the issue persists after trying those two files, next I recommend downloading the Restore Factory Defaults file, which will remove all games and apps from the Xbox One console and reset the OS
back.

If the issue persists after trying all of the steps above, your console may need to be repaired. To begin that process, visit our Online Service center page.
