    Right U got a network wire, and it comes up the same thing, it still won't connect

    I got the same error message i can't connect to xbox live while my brother is currently using the same wifi on a diffrent xbox one and thats working i tried unplugging my router and unpluging my xbox and plugging it back in I've also tried to set up a new
    wireless connection on the xbox one and i got the same error message

    This is nuts! My Xbox has been working for a year till this week. I keep getting taken offline also. First a code came up then today I just got this code. Saying I'm not connected but I am and have been. I have called my cable provider thinking that was
    the problem but they reset and it still doesn't work. Xbox it has been one problem after another for a year

    Hello there,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to the connectivity issues, have you tried to reset the router for 2 minutes? If not, I would suggest trying that as a solution. Afterwards, if you are still encountering issues, I would try to connect
    an ethernet cable to your console to see if it can connect. Once the console has connected I would then try to

    Update the Console     as that may resolve the issue as well with the
    error code 0x87dd001a    .

    You go to settings / network and setup the ip adress manually.

    You should check with with your pc by logging into your router which ip range your router provides and pick an ip out of this range. The subnet mask usually is 255.255.255.0, gateway and dns you can enter the ip address of your router.
