After turning on Xbox One system, when depressing the middle X button to return to the home screen, this error shows up and not allowing me to return to the home screen. Also happens when finished playing a game, pressing the middle X button to return to
home screen cases this error. Can anyone help? I have two controllers and error occurs when either are used, and have unplugged modem with same results after turning the Xbox on again.

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

As confirmed by the chat support the only way to solve this issue is to perform the factory default reset. Be warned that this action erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be
lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when it’s connected with the service, so if you've been offline for a while, you'll need to connect to Xbox Live before taking these steps.

This is No Good! I'm not resetting everything because They fouled something up.....or they've been *yech* hacked again.

My box was useless for several days. I unplugged it from the wall for several minutes. It is working fine now.

 

This is the code I am getting won't let me get to the home screen and I have to unplug the darn thing! This has been happening quite a bit when I am watching live tv it's really making me mad! Anyone know a reason why this is happening!? Support keeps telling
me to factory reset but I'm not doing that! Grrrrrr!!!

 

I had this problem and did a hard reset (hold down front (X) button until console goes off then switch on again). It seems ok at the moment.

 

I just did a hard reset (press the X button on the console) and hold it for 10 sec...

After dooing this the problem was over. Games and apps still active. Didnt lose any savedata
