    XBox One Endless Game Updates


    Hi All.

    Can someone tell me how I can play my games without endless updates? Everytime I go to play a game, that I played only a few weeks before, it has to be updated with new content and Im fed up with it. I have no interest in the latest updates and couldnt care less about any of it. All I want to do is play the game I have already played. I dont play online, have no interest in new skins or whatever **** is being offered, I just want to play.

    I have tried going off line but it wont play. Keeps telling me you need to be online and the game needs an update. Its really pissing me off.

    I sound annoyed and I apologise but enough is enough. its just update after update.

    If the new console is this annoying I think I will save my money.

    Help, advice, tips, would be greatly appreciated.

    Right now Im sitting through a 21 gig Halo Master Chief Collection update when I only played the game, with no issues, a month ago. Same happens when I load Gears of War, Bioshock, Doom etc.

    i have the same issue on my xbox one X, i have the latest updates and still no multiplyer, just endless disconnection notifications.

    Hi Tmphima! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    Please pause the update, perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

    After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    How do I uninstall X box game bar app?

    「Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage 」simply doesn't work. The annoying 「Xbox Game Bar Plugin」is still there and keeps updating itself in the Microsoft Store in an endless loop.
