xbox one elite wireless controller thumb stick drift.

My right thumb stick on my elite controller started to drift up couple months after purchasing and was told controller is out of warranty and the only option I have is to buy a new one. so I paid 150 for a controller just to have it not work properly couple
months later. doe anybody else have any quick fixes or anything to help my situation. I did really love the controller. just think its pretty messed up to pay 150 and be told the only option I have is to pay another 150 for a new one.

My elite controller is 1 year old and for the last month has developed drift in the right thumb stick. Can this be fixed?

 

Dead zone drift on Xbox One Elite controller

Hello has anyone else had problems with their xbox one Elite controller having a slight drift on the analogue stick? When I go into the controller mapping I notice that the right thumb stick has a slightly downward neutral position. Is there any way to correct
the dead zone?

 

You can still get a repair for your controller even though it's out of warranty but it won't be free, I don't know what the exact cost it, you should be able to contact Xbox Support about it.

no actually they told me they dont repair controllers only consoles.

 

Why the hell do they talk about how durable the *** thing is when they only have a 90 day warranty on it?? sounds like a scam to me.
