Xbox one Elite series 2 left joystick will not go up

I have this problem with both of my xbox one wireless controllers, particularly the left joystick and one also has a problem with the right joystick. The thing is, I hardly ever play games on my xbox one. I thought I was just crappy at all the games until
I started to fill out forms using the controller and would do left joystick and watch the highlighted letter on the alphabet screen light up once to the left and then quickly go back or down.

The joysticks are a mess and M$ has no way to report the problem or get it fixed, as far as I've been able to do. You go to the repair page, enter "controller joystick malfunction" and it gives me 2 options: 1. test console network connectivity or 2. send
in the kinect module for replacement.

WTF? FU M$.

I'm afraid it needs repair or replacement. The Elite 2 warranty is 1 year.

I have had the elite 1 and now the elite 2 , so far no problems. 👍

What is Elite 1 and Elite 2? Are you talking about XBox One joystick?

Is there any current fix to this elite 2 contoller left joystick drift. Beyond annoying havent even had this controller but a few montths now.

Unfortunately, we are not Microsoft employees we are gamers just like you, I totally understand the frustration, my elite series 2 started malfunctioning after 1 month of use, had it replaced with the warranty, seeing that this is no option for you I could suggest using compressed air (it has different names on different parts of the world) it's electronic friendly and has heloed me with my joystick issues!

Do you know Compressed Air can fix a joystick that tracks wrong. Like I mentioned my joystick tracks when I push up-left it somehow track down-left. I also have one that when I push down, then push up it tracks a slow deadzone and I just tip-toe in-game ruining my fps experience. I don't have a problem with my joystick drift I wouldn't say. I have a problem with the joystick tracking the right movement.
