xbox one elite series 2 controller warranty

i have checked almost everywhere and i have noticed a post on the official xbox site which says that the warranty of these controllers now is extended to one year and that it became valid also for the previously bought controllers.

In fact i have noticed some discrepancies between the more ways to check your warranty, if i go in the section: "request for a controller replacement" and i put in the serial number it tells me that it no longer has a warranty, same if i ask support in an
online chat, but if i go in the section "microsoft account | devices" it tells me that my warranty lasts until 17/1/2021 and, even if i try to ask support from there i get "blocked" in the section
in which you are asking me to choose my address without any possibility of proceeding to the next step, what should i do?

They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

The Elite Series 2 controller has a 1 year warranty.

If your controller isn’t working and needs replacing, go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty and
enter the controller’s serial number at the bottom of that page. For the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the 14-character serial number is in the lower centre on the back of the controller.

I bought Xbox Wireless Elite Series 2 Controller, Here in EU (Greece) all controllers have 1 year warranty and the Series X/S consoles 2 years.
