Xbox one elite joystick moving when not supposed to

the bottom right joystick is moving up and down when it's not supposed to for example I shake the controller or even move it rapidly and audible clicking sound is heard from it moving up and Down I want to know is it under warranty or is it something I have
to deal with

Moving to the right in the start menu of Xbox one

The Xbox joystick one moving to the right in the start menu of Xbox one. In the game and netflix works normally. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Controller Scheme Layout Setting Xbox One Elite

Does any one know if the Xbox One Elite Controller is able to support a certain layout ( Legacy, Southpaw, etc.) No matter if the game only has the Default setting. I believe it's possible for Microsoft to incorporate some sort of method in which we can
switch the controller joysticks to our preference. If not then the Elite is a waste of money due to it being able to switch buttons to what ever you want but not joysticks. Very disappointing.

this is my third elite 2 controller and the first one did the same thing with the joystick slight moving on its own if i barely touch it. MY 2nd controller the TRIGGER STOPPERS would not work at all in the third mode. My 3rd Controller now still does the
slight moving of the joystick again i completely agree for 200$ this should not be a problem.

I have had the elite 1 and now the elite 2 , so far no problems. 👍

What is Elite 1 and Elite 2? Are you talking about XBox One joystick?

Overall, the only real issue I have with the design elements is with the d-pad. When playing fighting games like Killer Instinct that require quarter-circle back, for example, it's incredibly hard to do those kinds of moves with the traditional d-pad that
was brought back for the Xbox One. Sure, I suppose I could use the joystick, but it's not as fast or as intuitive as an actual arcade joystick (lord knows I'm not willing to shell out big $$$ for 1 of those). I loved the rotating d-pad they had for the special
edition controllers on the Xbox 360 - I wish we had more of those or something similar.

Hi Elite,

The only way you would be able to use any joystick is through the
adaptive controller. If you are not in need of it, then unfortunately there is no joystick that would be compatible with the Xbox as a stand alone.
