Xbox One "Elite" Issues

I am at my wits end. I bought my XB1 in January and in February it began to freeze during gameplay, while watching Netflix, and sometimes just not turning on. I power cycled and did hard resets but to no avail. So I sent it to be serviced but was told everything
was a-okay. Note that while I started the service order in February I was unable to get the console sent off until early June (family issues and the like). I got the console back mid-June with the a-okay and things seemed to go well, until the end of July
when the freezing began again, the console not sending a signal to the TV, not recognizing the controller, etc. So I power cycled, hard reset, and even bought new HDMI cables and switched HDMI ports on my TV (even used other TVs in the house to see if it wasn't
my TV messing up), again to no avail.

On July 29 I used the factory reset via USB. After messing up the first time, the reset worked the second time I tried it. I decided to change from power saving mode to instant-on. Folks had issues with their XB1 messing up with the instant-on mode and switched.
I was having the opposite problem thus the switch. Even changed power outlets. Again, things seemed to proceed smoothly from there.

Or at least until August 31 when the freezing returned, the inability for the HDMI signal to be recognized, power cycling & hard resets not resolving anything. Tried to factory reset, following the instructions to the letter again. No dice. XB1 did not double
beep or do anything but the regular "on" chime. Punched a wall in frustration for the first time in my life.

September 1 my nephew (has a standard XB1 from Dec 2013 and no issues) came to visit and again tried to power cycle/hard reset. Managed to get the XB1 on and into my profile, making sure the console was up to date. We went to dinner, came back, and XB1 won't
send HDMI signal to TV. Back to the drawing board. Nephew managed to get the factory reset to work, update the console again and I'm able to install games. Decide to only try the digital games rather than discs. A few install successfully before XB1 decides
that nope, not gonna install any more. Restart the XB1 successfully and install the remainder of the digital games. Decide that's enough for the night and turn the console off.

Today, no signal.

Xbox One ban

Nope, completely new Xbox One Elite from Amazon.

 

How do you transfer a gamertag to and from an xbox 360 Elite and a xbox 360 "E"?

I used to use an xbox 256mb memory module to transfer my gamertag between my two "Elite" consoles, but the 360 "E" model does not have a port for the 256mb memory module .... so how does one now transfer their gamertag between and Elite and an E? Thanks!

If you have not done so already can you please try connecting the power supply directly to a wall outlet and not plug it via a power extension cord or surge protector.

It's already plugged into a wall outlet (TV and other things are in the surge protector). I followed the instructions to not plug it into a surge protector as this XB1 wasn't cheap.

I managed to get my XB1 to send the HDMI signal and tested it by watching Netflix for a total of 3hrs. Tried installing a game but it kept stopping on its own (did the whole troubleshooting for that) but it began to freeze or just lag in general. Gave up
for the night.
