    Xbox One Elite - ERROR: The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live.


    I just acquired the new Xbox One Elite and have played one game so far - Call of Duty "Black Ops". When I have tried to initiate PLAY ONLINE within the game I receive the message I use in the subject line of this message.

    I have not played on-line before. I didn't think I was a Gold Member till I tried to redeem a 14 day trial and was told I was a member. Still couldn't play on-line. I then bought a one month subscription ($9.99) as a test. Microsoft took my money, so now
    I don't know if I was a Gold Member or not or even if I am now since I can't access on-line gaming...

    So, I am very confused and would greatly appreciate any constructive guidance to help me get the most out of my Xbox console and games.

    I received an error. It says, The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live. I changed profiles and was able to get into a game. Why is that one profile not allowed to connect?

    Same thing and i did the exact same thing, 2 week free didnt work, so bought a month and still no work
