    Xbox One Elite Controller


    I purchased an Elite Controller in Aug 2016. The right bumper has become lose and can pop out of its place and does not work properly when pressed. I contacted support and they told me that is was not within warranty any longer. They told me that I needed
    to contact a local Microsoft store and I did and it linked me right back to Xbox support. How am I supposed to see about maybe getting this controller fixed if I cannot get linked to the correct place to help? I am very frustrated with this because I feel
    like I just wasted $150. Please help.

    Xbox One Elite Controller

    Hey there -

    The information you were first given regarding your controller's warranty is correct. If you purchased it in August 2016, unfortunately it is no longer within the valid warranty period. You can still send it to the
    Online Service Center for repair however you will be charged at the cost of the item being repaired/replaced.

    Xbox One S - a few steps forward but many backward (vs Xbox Elite)

    Xbox one s IS compatible with Xbox one elite controller so if you don't like the Xbox one s then use the elite controller.
