Xbox One Elite Controller !

Hello,

I cant access the custom thumbstick sensitivity curve throught xbox accessories app on xbox one.

I tried everything : microsoft support, hard reset, factory defaults, manual offline update... etc..

Now they said to me i have to pack the console and send it to the repair center ...

Actually editing the curve is not available yet unless you're in the Xbox One Preview Program. It will be available to the public soon.

You should be able to access the presets though

 

... and this is confirmed from the "authorities" ... 'cause I watched videos and thats why I bought it .... oh well then , I have to wait so ?

 

I know because my friend who is not in the preview can not edit the curve and me and another friend who are in the preview can.

The feature wasn't added with the launch of the controller but since it's in the preview now the only thing you can do is wait until it's fully added into the accessories app.

 

and the other thing is ... the support said that I cant uninstall the xbox accessories app and thats a worrying thing ... can you uninstall the application??

 

No, it's a system application on the Xbox One.

On Windows10 however you can install the app and remove it if you want. Settings are saved on the controller itself so should you wish to do so you can edit them through the Xbox Accessories app on your PC and then use the controller on your console.

and what about the microsoft support ... they said that i have to send it to repair center... and that's not a good thing for the console(transportation , etc.. ) and afterwards .. the issue will not be resolved ...

I would like to point out that I am not a part of the preview program, like not at all despite having been invited multiple times by people who are on my Xbox live friends list. I bought my Xbox Elite controller in January and after receiving it I updated
it immediately. I am however offline at the moment because I do not have reliable internet service. I would like to point out that the people who are saying you have to be part of the preview program to access the sensitivity curve may be spreading some misinformation,
because I can access the stick and trigger sensitivity curves just fine. If you need proof just let me know and I'll post some pictures showing that I am not a preview program member and I have access to the curves.

This is true to an extent, however actually adjusting the curve apart from just using the preset is not possible unless you're currently in the preview.

no because i have the curve and my mom does as well on her's i am apart of the preview program my mom isn't so how come my mom has it then

 

i cant do the things on the pictures as well ???
