Discus and support Xbox one elite controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; just looking for some advice really when the elite controller first came out i was very excited to get one it cost me £119.99 from game was very happy...     just looking for some advice really when the elite controller first came out i was very excited to get one it cost me £119.99 from game was very happy with it until about around a year of ownership and the rubber grips started to come away I was pretty
    angry with the lack of support from xbox especially as this is a premium product but in the end I swallowed it figured I got a early one maybe there was a manufacturing problem and I got another one another £119 and now after around 1 year ownership the rubber
    grip on the left hand side has just started coming away and I am not happy I kinda want to escalate a complaint to some one £239 spent pretty much on these controls and I want them to know I am not happy and these should be built better then this. even if
    they glued the rubber down it would surely be better any consumer advice kinda feel robbed

    Xbox one elite controller

    I have had 4 Elite controllers each one with the same issue. Luckily for my self I was in Warranty period for each one and had it replaced for free. In the UK warranty on controllers is 12 months from the date of purchase. After that you would need to purchase
    a new controller

    Surely this is a design flaw and microsoft should improve the process of manufacture to prevent this from happening

    Sorry to hear about the problems you are having with your Elite Controller.

    The controller is a premium product as you had stated in your post.

    I would say to contact Xbox support and request a callback and they can give you the options that you have for maybe servicing your controller. They might be able to replace that if everything checks out. Try to get a hold of them through

    Xbox One S - a few steps forward but many backward (vs Xbox Elite)

    Xbox one s IS compatible with Xbox one elite controller so if you don't like the Xbox one s then use the elite controller.
