    Xbox One Elite Controller Trigger Malfunctioning


    My Elite Controller's triggers are malfunctioning. Before I start, all the firmware and drivers are updated and I have done all the troubleshooting recommended. I have also tried calibrating the controller.

    The controller has been doing this since I got it a month or so ago. In the accessories app both the triggers are registering full travel without actually physically being at max travel. It is showing the same results in the device manager. This make
    it almost impossible to play any game where precise trigger modulation is needed (racing games). I can pull the triggers down all the way and lift up about 0.25" on them and they will still be registering full travel. Is anyone else having this issue?

    I tried registering my controller which has proven to be utterly impossible; so I am not sure how to get a replacement. I would prefer to not send it off, but all signs are pointing to something internal.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Obviously practice, but I found that the trigger stoppers on the Xbox One Elite controller really help.
