    Hi,

    I have the Elite series 2 controller which is amazing however im having problems selecting things on the menus screens. i have to tap A a fair bit to get it to register so i went onto the controller settings and when i go to the test button gizmo its permenantly
    showing the right analogue stick as in the up position. it clearly isnt on the actual controller. I have tried updating the controller, the console is already up to date but im on the insider test program so im not sure if it is the console software, i have
    reset it anyway but still no good.

    has anybody encountered this before and have any suggestions?

    Hello DazzV1,

    If you try to setup the controller via Xbox Accesories app, you can set up the dead zone of the joysticks, so maybe that can fix this issue.

    Can you try to do it?

    take it back to where you got it so you can get it exchanged or fixed.

    Interesting though that the issue is across both consoles and manifested itself at the same time. Some more details missed out yesterday. The controllers right analogue sticks are registering on both the calibration screen and when going into magnification mode. I have taken all the controllers to a friends and all work on both his X and One. I have also seen a few comments online where people have the same issue but no resolution. This isn't something unknown to MS so unfortunately I don't believe this will be resolved with a replacement unit and I wont be gaming anytime soon!
