    Xbox one elite controller not connecting to xbox


    My xbox one elite controller (lunar shift edition) takes ages to power on or doesn’t power on. I hold down the Xbox power button on the controller and it flashes and when I release after atleast a minute of holding down it does not connect to my Xbox one. I have two different batteries which require a docking station to charge. I have tried switching them and they both have the same issue.

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Hi Neecko92,

    Seems like the only workaround now is to connect your Elite controller to a Xbox One console, and update your Elite controller via the Xbox One console. Then it will work on your PC again.

    Have you tried connecting your Xbox Elite controller to your Xbox One console via USB to force a sync? If that doesn't work, it sounds like getting your Elite controller repaired will be next option. Here is information on
