    Xbox One Elite Controller Manufacturing Defect


    So I have one of the xbox elite controllers and I've had it for just over a year, But about 3 months or so ago the grips on my controller started to come off. Now, the entire grip has come off and this is clearly a manufacturing defect. The grip has little
    grown and is now bigger than its original size. There should be a class action lawsuit for this.

    As you can see in the picture above, along with the picture that will be attached below, the grips have expanded and no longer even fit where they were originally attached.

    Ok I am a HUGE Xbox fan and I love the Xbox one and the Xbox one X.I'm gonna buy that thing. but I want to buy an elite controller for elite gamer like me. But I am hugely concerned about the massive amounts of defects on the controller. Should I buy the

    That person was incorrect. Microsoft extended the warranty on the original model Xbox 360 console to a period of three years for three red light defects exclusively because of manufacturing defects.



    The last of those models produced--the Elite and the Arcade--discontinued manufacturing no later than July 19th, 2010. Your warranty for three red-light defects therefore could not have been in effect for any longer than July 19th, 2013.

    New Elite Series 2 Controller Stick Drift like the Series 1 ! WHY !? Unbelievable !

    This is the first I have heard of this on the new elite 2 controller. I have four elite controllers and no issues from manufacture defect. Hopefully, you get a good one under warranty and enjoy your gaming. Best wishes. ☺️

    I agree this should be fixed. If anything it might as well be a cause for product recall due to manufacture defect. A controller should last a lot longer than a year!!

    Rumors surrounding a V2 Elite controller, say its been scrapped and won't be coming this generation at all.

    Yes, I love the Elite Series Controllers. Like you I have had a problem with the controllers. For me, it turned out that the particular store I was dealing with got a bad shipment of controllers & so I got a refund & bought a new one from another store
    & it worked fine. Unfortunately defects are not always caught at the manufacturers end.

    I take care of my Elite 2 but it needs to be RMA'd due to a common Right Bumper issue these controllers seem to have.

    Well, They said nothing can be done because the 90-day warranty is up. $200 controller that only comes with 90-day manufacture warranty what an absolute joke considering hardware defects seem to be common in the Elites. I'll be skipping the Xbox Series
    X and any other future Microsoft products.

    I've used Elite controllers for awhile, and buttons not working right out of the box is NOT normal. I would definitely contact wherever you purchased it from for a refund or exchange! I haven't heard of anyone having that problem, but it's possible that
    the controller has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during shipping.

    You're definitely experiencing an anomaly!
