Xbox One Elite Controller (Loose paddle)

The lower left paddle is loose on my controller. I cannot get it to not be loose. I think it is the housing on the controller. Any suggestions?

elite controller or paddle re-map add on to existing controller

looking for some info,

my son wants the elite controller for xbox one and during research on prices i can accross the paddle re-map that you can add to your existing xbox one controller

does the re-map add on work just like the elite controller without having to buy a complete ne controller just for these extra paddles?

Xbox One Elite Controller Opinions

So I bought a Xbox One Elite Controller but I just cannot get on with the paddles on the back of the controller.

Is it a case of perseverance or does anyone not bother with using the paddles?

I have this same exact problem and I only got it two weeks ago mine is on the left though and your totally right about it being the housing of where the paddle sits! It is very annoying hopefully we find out some info

I have the elite controller picked up 3 weeks ago. My RB button keeps registering a press yet neither of the RB buttons are being pressed. I set controller. Used a different controller with success . I have attempted to get in touch will Microsoft 4
times requested call back 3 times and 1 time waited phone tell my call dropped. I was only called back once of the 3 and when I verified my Microsoft dropped the call.

To be very, very clear, the problem is that the newest firmware updates to Xbox elite 2 controller has broken the functionality of the paddles. As of the latest firmware, the paddles are completely disabled when in default profile. The paddles used to work in default mode, and now they don't. Steam can corroborate this: last year Steam added functionality to customize the outputs of the elite controllers paddles, which means that the paddles used to output a unique signal instead on only emulating other controller buttons.

A quick internet search reveals numerous accounts from users who had used steam to customize the paddle outputs, proving that the paddles used to work. You can also see a growing number of recent complaints from Elite controller users who are realizing that their paddle inputs are now broken. This is not an isolated occurrence, the elite controller was broken by the latest firmware updates, and people are realizing it.

The changes made to the Xbox elite 2 Controller paddles in the latest firmware updates NEED TO BE REVERTED.

In order to find the removable parts to buy for an Elite controller you have to register your Xbox One and then register your Elite Controller under the accessories tab for your Xbox One.

I have yet to call about getting replacement paddles, but I will REFUSE to buy replacement paddles for something that I received defective. Microsoft needs to suck it up and supply replacements especially since demand is high for the controller and they
are hard to find in stock anywhere.
