Xbox One Elite Controller issue

Im having an issue with my right stick for some reason I have stick drift and I haven't had this controller that long also one of my paddles went missing the P3 paddle. So I went to register my controller and nowhere under the battery cover is there a serial
number I tried all numbers then letters don't work either if anyone can help please reply.

also the serial number that i found on my box today does not fit the registration page its 14 numbers long and yet only 12 of the 14 can be typed in not happy about this i just wanna send it in for the right stick having drift and im missing my p3 paddle?

It is my understanding that you can't register the controllers but if you have copies of the sales receipt the 90 day warranty will be honored. Go to the support page and see if it provides the information required Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support

Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

I would recommend the standard Xbox One controller, I had same issue with my Elite controller. Also check and see if your Elite controller is still under warranty.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Actually, our Elite controllers have a full 1-year (12 months) warranty, unlike our other controllers. If you're Elite controller is acting strange, then you can try the following
in regards to troubleshooting:

If you've been troubleshooting, but the issues seem to remain (and you haven't had the controller that long), I'd recommend you request
a controller replacement.
