Xbox One Elite Controller is broke

Hello Guys,

i hope you can help me.

Today the LB Button of my Elite Controller broke for no Reason.

My last Elite Controller had the same issue luckily i could send it to your "Service" to get a new one but this one broke at the exact same spot maybe the Parts are not strong enough. ( Normal wear and tear / i think thats the right description)

Now i was searching for the repair service on your site and found it but everytime when i try to register my Controller ( the controller from your repair service) it said that i cant registerd it and i should ask in this Forum what to do.

Informations that may help:

Location: germany

Controller: Xbox One Elite Controller ( New One from Xbox repair service)

Hope you guys can help me because the Controller is really expensive.

Xbox one Elite Controller grips - Rubber falling off.

The new Elite 2 controller seems to have answered the past issues. To get your controller serviced:

Is it the same controller you received from Xbox Repair? If the original controller was out of warranty you wouldn't be able to get it repaired again. I would recommend contacting Xbox Support for this issue, here: Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support

unluckily i'm not realy sure.

The Controller i have from the "repair service" felt different.

I know it's sound weird but i think it was not the one i had before because the new one had the problem when you tap the cross down it often double taps.

But i was thinking its not a big deal and i accepted it so i am realy sure that was a different controller.

I thought with the "new one" i have a new waranty of maybe two years.

With any repair, the warranty is or timeframe from repair is 90 days. You can always request a callback and have an agent help you to see if still under the repair warranty.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
• Step 2 ----select no thanks
• Step 3-----select games
• Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain thee issue and they will be able to help you.
