Xbox One Elite Controller doesn't turn on with batteries

Hi,

I have a Xbox One Elite Controller, which works just fine using the usb cable. When put in full (I tested and used different ones) batteries, it doesn't do anything when pressing any button (I tested every button including the green sync button). The XBox
Logo doesn't even light up.

I use the Controller with my PC and now I got a wireless adapter, so I can play without cable.

I also checked if there are any updates in the accessory app but the controller has the latest Firmware.

What else could be the issue?

controller connectivity issues.

I have the Xbox one elite armed forces controller and I've run into a problem with it connecting to the XBOX itself when connected via cable the controller turns on completely fine when there are batteries in the controller completely disconnected from the
xbox the controller will flash twice then turn off. I have tried putting batteries in and turning it on with the cable and unpluging it from the Xbox but the didn't work i've tried to connect the through the button on the controller and side of the Xbox One
but that doesn't work either and at this point im looking for further incite into what may be going on with said controller.

Elite controller updates

The Elite controller is compatible with the Xbox One play & charge kit and also with rechageable batteries as you can see here (see specifications):

Sounds like the controller has failed and will need to be repaired/replaced. If it is still under warranty contact support to get that process started. Contact Us | Xbox Support

My controller doesn't take batteries it's the elite series 2 it has a built in rechargeable battery pack

I have an Xbox One X and a series 1 Elite controller and I can confirm that the controller should not turn off while plugged into the Xbox via the cable included with the Elite controller. My Elite controller does have a Play and Charge rechargeable battery
in it, so that could be a factor that keeps the controller always on while plugged in. I was able to watch hours worth of football without having to touch the Xbox One controller while it was plugged in. Do you have any batteries in the controller while it's
plugged in or are they removed?

The only other thing you can do is occasionally push the thumb stick on the controller to keep it awake, or invest in some wireless headsets that doesn't require you to connect to the controller for audio.

The link doesn't solve the problem, then asks us to give a serial number behind the battery, this is an elite controller which doesn't have any batteries
